Problems Opossums Cause

Opossums are perfect in climbing; for them, it is not difficult to get access within the house. They are attractive to garden products, bird feeder that they find in excessive amount. Waste and bacterial growth
You may be a wonder to know they produce waste in high amount. Their urine can cause stain on the attic and the floor. They faces contains a bad smell that can cause bacterial infection, and they can also become a reason to invite other insects. Insets like to eat the waste of these pests. Asopossums are very messy while eating the food they can make the place dirty by leaving the food all over the area. They live a very short life as compare to other mammals so it is a chance they may die inside your house. People who did not know about their availability, they may come to know when they die, and their body starts decomposing and starts producing a bad odor.

How to get rid of opossums?
They prefer to live in dark places, use light at night in dark areas like the deck, backyard by doing this they will move to another place.  Do not keep the garbage within the house, especially at night time; garage can be an ideal place for them to live.  They like to live in a messy place, Clean your house properly, especially your attic and basement that are ideal places for rodents.  Use fence around your garden and deck it will prevent them from getting to your house.  Seal all the holes and cracks as they just need a small gap later they can chew them to make their path.
